dragged myself out of bed to go to a lecture that was not only dull, but irrelevant, verbose and over-ran by half an hour.
....so i had no choice but to have baked potatoes with jo, gingerbread coffee with helene, fruit tea with liz and spilled coffee with giles.
which were all lovely and interesting and superb, even though they left me with only an hour before my library shut and in a queue for the photocopier behind a man with 15 books and a lot of anger towards the photocopier.

and the pixies said to the fairies, "would you like a game of cricket?"
and the fairies said "ooh yes please!"
then the pixies said "but you mustn't fly - you must catch the ball with your own hands, because we can't fly and it wouldn't be fair"
"alright" said the fairies, "and *you* mustn't use any of your magical powers either"
"what magic powers!?" said the pixies.. "we don't have any magic powers, just these little pointy hats!"
so the fairies said "how come you're so famous then?"
and the pixies said "its just our pointy hats, honestly [and our funny ears and being so small]"
so the fairies agreed and they played a game of cricket.
and the pixies cheated like the little bastards they are, and they won, so the faires flew off and did a fart in their faces.
